HALDE UNDERWATER WINE
Halde wine has been produced by Maran Winery since 2018. It’s aged underwater in Lake Kari, located on Aragats mountain, 3185 meters above sea level.
Every year 900 bottles are submerged in the lake for 12 months. This technology greatly improves the quality of the wine, making it softer, richer, and more nuanced. The effect has been confirmed by numerous laboratory analyses and blind tastings by renowned international experts.

Each year, by the breathtaking Lake Kari, we gather a select circle of friends and wine connoisseurs for the Halde Ceremony. Guests dive into the rare experience of retrieving wine aged beneath the water’s surface, savor guided tastings led by experts, and enjoy an atmosphere of joyful festivity.
Starting in 2025, the Ceremony enters a new chapter of its evolution with Wilco Wealth Management Co. joining as the event’s general sponsor — bringing fresh energy, broader horizons, and even more inspiration to this cherished tradition.
